Africa Network Coordinator
Ronald has worked as a food fortification advisor and monitoring specialist in the public, private and civic sectors, focusing on design, enactment of standards, implementation, enforcement, and monitoring and evaluation of fortification programs. With FFI, he supports flour fortification efforts with public, private and development partners in African countries to address health and nutrition challenges. Executive Officer - Asia
Karen has worked in public nutrition for more than 15 years, including a former assignment as the UNICEF Regional Nutrition Specialist for the East Asia and Pacific Region. She has been with FFI since 2008, supporting fortification in the Asia Region. Contact her regarding wheat flour and rice fortification in Asia.

India Coordinator - FFI
Subrata has 18 years professional experience in agri-information management, health communication, developmental journalism, food and nutrition, infant and young child feeding and human rights. He currently works closely with government and food industries for establishing public-private-civic-partnerships. He spearheaded many advocacy initiatives with the state governments that helped to start wheat flour fortification programs in many states. He provides technical and capacity building support to various stakeholders, including the Government, to develop a mass flour fortification strategy and program in India.
Training and Technical Support Coordinator
Quentin is an expert in milling and baking technology and food processing with 40 years of experience. In the past 15 years, he has helped 85 countries implement staple food fortification programs. He was recognized for his work with an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Guelph in Canada. Scott brings a business approach to FFI as he worked in the private sector for 30 years before being named FFI Director in March 2011. His expertise is in leadership, senior level management, food processing and supply chain with global experience across cereal grain industries. Senior Nutrition Scientist
Helena holds a doctorate in nutrition and a master of public health degree. She has 20 years of research and program experience primarily focused on reducing malnutrition in developing countries. Technical Officer, FFI Asia

Becky worked at FFI as a graduate research assistant while earning her master's degree in public health, with an emphasis on global health and public nutrition, at Emory University. Her primary responsibility was developing a flour and rice fortification strategy for India. After graduating, Becky worked at the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities. Her work there focused on the global initiative to eliminate folic acid preventable birth defects. In her current role with FFI, she works closely with Karen Codling on wheat and rice fortification in Asia.
Anna previously worked in the Eastern Mediterranean Region of the World Health Organization (WHO). After successfully promoting salt iodization through partnerships between governments and salt producers, Anna organized multisectoral workshops in 1996 and 1997 which led to a regional flour fortification standard. She also worked as WHO Senior Advisor to the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) where she organized program development workshops for multisectoral country teams. With FFI her special focus is Africa, but she also works with countries in the Middle East and Europe. Sarah wrote stories for daily newspapers and marketing pieces for private-sector organizations before joining FFI in 2008. She brings 30 years of communications experience to FFI where she manages media requests, the FFI website, social media, and newsletters.
